More Than Therapy: Helping Young Adults Thrive

Sycamores is a behavioral health agency—but we do so much more than provide therapy. Because healing doesn’t happen in a vacuum.

For the young adults in our Transition Age Youth (TAY) Programs, it’s hard to focus on mental health when they’re worried about where they’ll sleep, how they’ll get to school or work, or if they’ll have a meal that day.

That’s why Sycamores takes a whole-person approach. We help meet urgent needs—like housing, food, clothing, and transportation so young adults can focus on building stability, hope, and a better life.

In recognition of National Mental Health Awareness Month this May, we’re highlighting how donor support helps meet basic needs that make mental wellness possible.

  • $10 can provide laundry detergent and quarters for one wash, a phone charger to stay connected, or basic kitchen or cleaning supplies.

  • $25 can provide a grocery gift card for food staples, bedding basics, or a school supply restock (backpack, planner, supplies).

  • $50 can provide work boots, a small air fryer for healthy cooking, or the fee for an online course or certification program.

We’re inviting you to be part of the difference.

Every gift has a real impact. Your donation—whether it’s $10, $25, or more—can directly support a young person’s path to wellness and independence. Because when basic needs are met, young adults can focus on what truly matters: their mental health and their future.
